BioTech Life Science Dictionary
The University of Texas at Austin illustrated dictionary of information on thousands of life science terms. The over 8300 terms deal with biochemistry, biotechnology, botany, cell biology and genetics. There are also some terms relating to ecology, limnology, pharmacology, toxicology and medicine. Some medically- and biotechnologically-relevant organisms such as bacteria, worms, fungi, and some plants are included but not common or exotic animals.

MeSH Browser
The Medical Subject Headings comprise NLM's controlled vocabulary used for indexing articles, for cataloging books and other holdings, and for searching MeSH-indexed databases, including MEDLINE. The MeSH Browser is used to find descriptors of interest, to see these in relationship to other descriptors, and to show the hierarchy in which these descriptors appear. The Browser displays virtually complete MeSH records, including the scope notes, annotations, entry vocabulary, history notes, allowable qualifiers, etc.

US Patent Office
The US Patent Office full-text patent database covering the period from 1 January 1976 to the most recent weekly issue date (usually each Tuesday). The US Patent Classification data in the Full-Text Database corresponds to classification data which appears on the printed patent, and may not match current classification data.
U.S. Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS)
The US Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) is a replacement for the US Trademark Search Database. Pending trademark applications for the preceding four months may be incomplete. Currently, TESS contains more than 2.7 million pending, registered and dead records.
